What makes our food so Goood?

Many of us know what’s good for our health, but we’re not always so certain when it comes to our dogs. Most people avoid excess fats and sugar to help them stay fit and healthy, but the same thought process should be applied to our doggos to help them thrive.

Through your dog's diet, they need to get everything that their body needs, whether this is the energy they need for fetch or proteins to help them stay strong. So, how do you ensure they’re getting the right amount of each nutrient? Their food.

That’s where we come in. All our premium, sustainable dog food is made using natural ingredients. This means that our recipes are grain-free and follow a holistic nutritional concept. Wherever possible, we use locally sourced ingredients in order to minimise our carbon footprint, and we only use free-range or organic meat and MSC certified fish.

We’re also proud that our food includes no artificial colourings, flavourings or preservatives. So what’s actually in our tasty dog food?

Protein

Our meat is not just delicious, but the protein and energy content of our food is perfectly matched to the needs of puppies, young and adult dogs, of any size. This means whatever the size of your four-legged friend you can ensure they’re getting the protein they need. So why do dogs need protein? It has several roles in maintaining a healthy and happy pet, including building and repairing muscle and helping to support the immune system.

Berries

Our food also contains a variety of berries which are high in antioxidants and add variety to your dog diet. These berries include elderberries, sea buckthorn, bilberries, cranberries and raspberries!

Sunflower and rapeseed oil

Sunflower and rapeseed oil both contain lots of valuable omega 3 fatty acids, which is why we’ve added them to our food. These are essential for cell maintenance, organ health (including kidney, heart and liver health), and they also help towards a glossy coat.

Apples

Did you know that apples contain over 30 vitamins and trace elements? These amazing fruits are vital for a healthy intestinal environment. In fact, apples are a brilliant addition to your dog’s diet as they provide them with vitamin A, vitamin C and dietary fibre. Not only this, but they also help keep your dog’s teeth sparkling clean.

Spirulina Algae

This superfood from the sea is 50% protein and is a dense source of vitamins, minerals, amino and omega-3 fatty acids, enzymes and trace minerals. This is an amazing addition to any dogs diet, helping to boost the metabolism and strengthen the immune system and protects the cells.

Potatoes

Grown deep within Bavarian soil, these potatoes are real bundles of energy! Potatoes are an amazing source of vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin B6, calcium, potassium, magnesium, and iron, not to mention protein!
